Rented a rug doctor from them. I was allowed to pick from three of them so I picked the cleanest looking one. Got it home and when I went to unload it soaked my pants because it was full of water. I thought it was strange anyway I dumped it all out, filled with hot water and soap went to use it and the damn sprayer wouldn't work. So I took it back and there was only one left. That thing was so nasty and filled with hair. This place definitely doesn't check on these units. Terrible service!

I have had yard tools sharpened here before, so I thought I’d ask them to sharpen my chef’s knife (my whetstones are in storage). The knife came back in an unusable condition. There are burrs everywhere!
To be clear, I asked if they had the capability to sharpen kitchen knives before purchasing the service. The staff said that sharpening this knife wouldn’t be a problem, but my knife was returned to me in an unacceptable condition. I feel Jacobson’s staff were dishonest with me.

Disappointed that this has changed from a hardware store to a home good store. Grilling and gardening and definitely your yeti supply cups and gear, but not a hardware store any more.
Left because they should have had what I needed, but obviously didnt.

Purchased Weber grill on July 4th with assembly and delivery. Did not receive a phone call from them and had to reach out to set up date and time on July 9th. Delivery time was set for the 10th between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. The morning of the 10th I was told someone needed to be there to help them unload it from the back of the truck. Seeing it weighed 188lbs I had my husband come home to help. The delivery driver arrived at 1pm so not terribly late however the Weber grill looked like it was assembled by someone who had never done it before. The front panel had an inch wide gap where the knobs didn't line up. Thankfully my son was able to pull up the schematics and reassemble it correctly.

My visit was not very customer friendly! The ace on Claremont after checking to see if had spark plugs for my push mower he actually referenced and looked on shelf didn't have it in stock told me to check with Birch Street must have been training a new guy older gentleman said we can't reference it all our lawnmower parts back in corner!! I picked one out not even sure if it was right one!! I never get customer service at Claremont Ace they will actually help you !! Guy I hope was just have a bad Monday!!!

Called to confirm they had an item. Personnel the phone confirmed they did have the item and confirmed location. Got to location a few minutes later to be told that they don't have the item.
