La Norteñita is a hidden gem that serves as both a grocery store and a restaurant, offering a wide range of authentic Mexican products and dishes. The store has everything needed to prepare favorite Mexican meals, including fresh produce like avocados, peppers, and tomatillos, as well as tortillas, candies, seasonings, salsas, and homemade decor. Despite being on the smaller side, it features a variety of products, including beautifully decorated cakes, baked goods, decorations, and cooking equipment. Customers can enjoy quick service in the restaurant area, where they can order takeout or sit down for meals like carne asada, tacos, quesadillas, and more. The food is praised for its authentic flavor and good quality, with prices considered decent. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, some of whom speak both Spanish and English, making it accessible for everyone. The store is well-stocked, fresh, and well-maintained, with a lively atmosphere that reflects Latino culture. Overall, La Norteñita is a great spot for authentic Mexican food, groceries, and a taste of Mexico, whether passing through or looking for a regular go-to place.
The food is good enough. The people that work there act like they don't care.

Went tonight to get some ingredients to make tamales. Left with the best tres leches I’ve had since moving from St. Paul, plus all the things we came for. We were welcomed by multiple workers, and they were so kind with my crummy Spanish :) absolutely going back.

Decent selection but prices are WAY too high, which is one thing. But they don’t price anything on shelves. I checked out with a bag of chips and a frozen mango type drink and it totalled around $18
