5th row is awesome ! I’ve been working with Clay 3x/week (personal training sessions) for about 4 months and have gained so much strength and motivation to keep going. Everyone at the gym is kind and encouraging of eachother. I’m so happy that I found 5th row !

I started at 5th Row with my wife 3.5 months after a pretty bad wrist break, 49 years old, and no real consistent routine workout-wise in my life. I wasn’t much of an athlete growing up, never really “hit the gym” and had only done P90x over 10 years ago with nothing consistent after it was over.We started with Ryan two mornings a week building all-around strength, starting where we were and building up. Ryan helped modify moves for my wrist in order not to irritate it and strengthen my forearm.After 3 months, we added an additional day…a group session. We were a little intimidated at first; these were people who’d been at this longer than us, but there was zero judgement and only encouragement.Ryan and team have helped foster such a great gym culture. There’s a reason this place is the Best in the Chippewa Valley!We got rolling on consistently coming three times a week. We even workout on vacation now (what?!?!) and we are bummed when we have to miss (rarely). Thankfully there’s a number of available group sessions that help make it easy to get a makeup work out in.Here we are a little more than a year later.Have I dropped any weight? I don’t think so. But the weight has shifted and is definitely more muscle than fat.Is my wife starting to get some abs? You know it!Do we feel better? Yes!You just have to start. Just show up. Hold yourself accountable (it helps to have a partner in crime for sure) and do the work. Make it as important as any other appointment and you’ll make the time. It’s so worth it.

I love working out at 5th Row! I have done just about every group fitness class there is and these groups are THE best! They are lifting focused and yet still completely tailorable to all abilities, injuries, and ages. Ryan and Riley are always willing to help, answer questions, and provide substitutes when needed. The people who come to the groups are fantastic and vary in ages, abilities, and strength. It is such a great environment! It is a great workout every time!

Ryan is an amazing trainer! He tailors your personal training sessions to your ability and wherever you are on your fitness journey. He is always encouraging but when he knows you give a better effort, he will let you know to step it up. I always enjoy going to workout because I know how good I will feel afterwards. Great place to train!

I am not your typical gym client. I have had 2 hip surgeries and have other muscular and joint issues that prevent me really killing it at the gym. Ryan has expertly modified things to fit my fitness level. He allows me to listen to my body and will change gears to help me get a good workout without risking injury. You really feel how much Ryan wants you to achieve your goals and improve your health!!

Want to feel stronger and more tone ladies? This is the place to do it! It only takes a few Small group sessions to get in the groove. I like that I don’t have to be at the gym for 90 minutes doing multiple things - this is one class for 50 minutes. Owner Ryan has experience with all levels of fitness and ability. You can tell he cares about all his members progress - not just the super fit heavy lifters but also the beginners who make progress and show up for their health goals. Ryan and Riley are encouragers and motivators. My only request is a country music workout playlist ???

If I could give it 6 stars I would. My only regret about getting a membership here is that I didn't do it sooner! I love everything about this gym from the workouts, to the members, to the staff. If you are thinking about a membership, step out of your comfort zone and give it a try, your mind and body will thank you!

The very best! As an athlete my entire life, I was missing something at all of the MANY gyms I had memberships at. 5th Row provides a sense of community you cannot get anywhere else. Everyone lifts each other up, pushes each other to be better, and Ryan cultivates a place that is really special. You can walk in at any level and will start seeing small improvements in your daily life immediately. I don't know why I didn't start sooner!

If you’re looking for a place to get your body moving again, in a truly comfortable place, this is it. It’s always intimidating to start something new or to get back into something but that washes away after your first class. Everyone is welcoming and always helpful; whether you don’t know an exercise or need help adding (or in my case taking off) weights on a bar. What I’ve always hated about gyms is how the egos fill the space and that makes you doubt yourself.. 5th Row has none of that.Seriously could not recommend Ryan and his space more if you’re like me and needed to get moving and working out again!

Fifth Row Lifting Company is by far the best gym in Eau Claire for several reasons! One of my favorite things about it is the convenience. No more walking around a gym trying to figure out what I should do. Every day I walk in and Ryan has a super effective 50 minute workout planned out for everyone. I also love how diverse the people are. There are people of all different fitness levels there, and I promise you will fit in no matter who you are. I’ve been to several different gyms and I have never found one that works so perfectly for me until Fifth Row. I have never felt so strong and healthy. I am SO glad I found this place.

I've been going to this gym for about 4 months, and I love it! This is the only place I have found that emphasizes weight lifting in it's classes, and it's exactly what I was looking for. I am feeling stronger, I've lost weight, and I feel more confident. Ryan, the owner, is friendly and you can tell he really cares about his clients. He's been helpful in areas of nutrition and lifting form, so I can do my best. Highly recommend!

5th Row Lifting Company is the best!!! Ryan has great energy and will make time for members of all fitness levels. The workouts are challenging for all levels, but the program is easy....show up put in the effort and you will see results. No thinking or planning required. All the members are friendly and helpful. Never any sideways looks or comments from anyone. The only person you need to compete with is yourself, to get stronger with every workout.
