“I did the building hope pre apprentice program and it has helped me land jobs, gigs, and even bring my own house up to code. Ms. Jackie and the whole staff were great and I’m happy that something like this exists it’s definitely a gateway to a brighter future.”

“We love this mission! All the stores are run well. I've yet to deal with a grumpy staff member or volunteer. Sad to see when donations are down in the household department, but that just inspires me to donate! We live almost 2 hours away and we make a point to visit this store when we're in Eau Claire!”

“Although prices are a little absurd for used merchandise, awesome lady running the store. Awesome cause. Kohl's I would think there would be much more customer traffic if the prices were not so high”

“Yesterday I dropped off 8 boxes full of clothes and kitchen ware. The gentleman who was working the drop off department was incredible!! He noticed I am pregnant and made sure I wasn't lifting anything more than just the small boxes. I even forgot to close one of my doors fully when driving away and he flagged me down to simply shut it properly for me. 10/10 for how kind he is!! Going into the store afterwards was a different experience though. After donating, you'd think that the deals inside would be worth it. Mind you this is a thrift store! My daughter got a sweatshirt and a can of Pringles, I got a maternity dress. This all totalled out to $27! For two pieces of used clothing and chips... I just purchased a whole new wardrobe for my daughter and baby to be totalling $50 for 15 clothes items from Once Upon a Child. I simply find it wild that they charged so much after I donated enough to fill an entire rack in the store with clothing let alone half a shelf of kitchen items. Again, very happy with my experience with drop off, very kind gentleman. My issue lies inside the store with purchasing used items as if they were new on the rack.”

“By far the best thrift store. This place actually seems to cater to people with low income compared to a lot of others. I had to take pics of the prices last time I went to the Hope Store on Clairmont cause like the name, you hope they are joking but unfortunately they aren't. At Savers everything is reasonable priced and with every visit u can find something without going broke”

“Never have tried selling here, but shopping here isn’t too bad. Some items are definitely overpriced, but I’ve managed to find good deals on other things. It really depends on the day you go. I usually find the best deals on shoes there, everything else doesn’t seem very discounted.”
