“I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Savanna Oaks Community Center - David Gaustad Photography. With the heat index soaring past 105°, the couple made a last-minute call to move the ceremony indoors. I found out from the bride’s mother about two hours before arrival, and everything still came together flawlessly.

The venue handled the change with ease. The indoor space worked out great, ambient lighting was decent, and while I used off-camera flash occasionally, it really wasn’t necessary most of the time. The overall setup photographed well.

The staff was also top-notch. The on-site bartender kept things moving efficiently with no long waits, and the event was well-managed overall. One nice perk: the family was able to bring in their own catering, which added a personal touch. (Of course, check with Savanna Oaks directly to confirm their current policy on that.)

All in all, it was a smooth experience at a solid venue and one I’d be happy to work at again.”
