“The rooms are like a small apartment with a kitchen and living room separate from the bedroom. Free breakfast in the morning and happy hour in the evenings. Comfortable beds and good shower pressure, even on. the 5th floor.”
“The Ivy House was the perfect venue for our dream wedding! Great getting ready space, ample parking, beautiful ceremony space, professional staff, great drinks, fabulous DJ and sound system, and the list goes on. We got so many compliments from our guests on the space and we loved that it didn’t need much decorating to make it the warm and cozy vibe we were after. They were super flexible with allowing us to drop things off earlier in the week and pick stuff back up after the wedding which was much appreciated. Bonus shoutout to the incredible DJ, Julian from airwaves, who really brought the party and matched our energy so well for the whole night. I want to get married again so we can hang out at the Ivy House all day again!”
“Such a unique and beautiful wine spot. There is no bad wine offered there and the service is incredible. Tony and Rachel do an outstanding job making it the best experience every time. This place would be great for a book club/ bridal shower/ or any fun event. But also is the best for a lowkey night sipping wines with friends.”
“We got married at The Cooperage in late May 2025 and worked closely with Maddie to plan the day. While communication was a tad rocky at the start, that quickly flipped and Maddie was AMAZING!! When you think girl boss, Maddie should be the first person that comes to mind. Leading up to the wedding day, Maddie made sure all our questions were answered, took the time to explain details to us and our options, and really just made the whole experience of planning a wedding from daunting to enjoyable. When it came to the day of the wedding, Maddie was on-site ready to go with her team as soon as the venue opened and it looked STUNNING inside. Her and my day of coordinator worked together and truly made me have the best day of my life. I couldn't be more grateful for everything Maddie and her team did. The bartenders at the Cooperage were amazing and there is no other word to describe it. I had multiple guests come up to me saying how awesome the bartenders were and their drinks were absolutely delicious. There was a point about an hour before walking down the aisle where we were taking pictures and one of the bartenders comes up to me with my signature cocktail for me - INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! And don't even get me started on the food. Holy crap. The food at our wedding was THE most complimented part of the wedding. The appetizers we choose were better than when we came in and tasted. So many compliments here and that people didn't have room for the actual meal because of how good the apps were. And the actual food, we ended up going with the BBQ and that was the best decision we could have possibly made. Again, so many compliments on the quality of the meat, how creamy the mac and cheese was, and everything in between. I want to have another event at the Coop just so I can eat all the food again! The last thing I will mention is that Maddie helped us get in contact with the Airbnb owner. The Airbnb is located right above the Cooperage, so we had a beautiful space for my bridesmaids and me to get ready the morning of that was incredibly convenient. Overall, if you are a laid back Bride and Groom who are looking for a great space and team to work with, look no further than the Cooperage!”
“Nice walking area, quick and easy with a fishing dock. When you get to the lighthouse, you can turn around and go back the same way and circle in the peninsula. We went towards the parking lot thinking there would be some pathway but there isn’t really. Would be nicer to walk back into the water area where there is nature”

“This quiet, clean, and nicely located B&B was a great stay. I spent 3 nights here, while in South Milwuakee for work and would recommend it for anyone trying to decide where to stay. The outdoor patio space was a nice place to have an evening glass of wine and my morning coffee. My room was great, with crisp bed linens, a jacuzzi tub and huge walk in shower. Bonus....coffee/beverage station right across from my door, which I greatly enjoyed! Most importantly, the breakfasts were AMAZING, delicious, generous portions and did I mention, amazing?! I looked forward to each morning and I was so happy for the 8 am knock on my door letting me know breakfast was served! Give this place a try!”

“Was there for a birthday party. It was ok. Had a blow up and wood climbing house with slides. But not a whole lot more. Not a lot of food choices but reasonably priced for what they had. The kids seemed to have fun but I would definitely say ages 4 to 7ish is what will enjoy.”

“The rooms were very clean, as a clean-freak I was impressed! A little outdated but nice. The mattress was literally spotless! They also have a pool/hot tub area and fitness center that were extremely clean. Like no joke, spotless. Service members were very kind and accommodating. Seriously a great hotel :)”
“Laser tag has become an annual family tradition. 11-14 of us play together for an hour and we have a blast. You can switch teams between rounds. The best part is that they have two levels so that keeps it interesting.”

“First of all, Labett at a the front desk ROCKS. She was super helpful and friendly. I stayed here to watch a Brewers game. It’s within walking distance of the park if you’re in decent shape and a short Uber ride if not. Rooms are large, clean and comfy. Nice shower pressure. Really enjoyed my stay here.”

“Oh my gosh. Heather was sooooo amazing. So helpful. Our flight was canceled and she went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and helped us figure everything out. It was close to the airport for our last minute cancellation and very clean. Beds were comfy. AC was cold.”
“I enjoyed most of their fish fry. Generous portions of thick, tasty, breaded fish, properly cooked.. The fries were just ok. The piece of rye bread was pretty small, which was disappointing. Also, the sides, especially the cole slaw, to me, and potato salad were small portions. Loved their tartar sauce! I'm not sure why it took so long to get food. I was in the drive through line more than 20 minutes and I was only about 6 cars away from the window. The parking lot was nowhere near full. Maybe they were just shorthanded. If they offered a fish sandwich, I would have gotten that. So the fish was good, and after all, that is what I am there for.”

Just so you are aware the company now charges a 18% service fee for bar staff as a tip, company policy now. But the staff is amazing and fun to talk with.
