At first, working with Extra Space storage was one of the more frustrating experiences with a company I’ve ever dealt with. They’re having staffing issues, and no one was present during their office hours for multiple days with no notice as to why or when someone would be present. After spending many hours across two days trying to get into our unit (including spending $200 in phone fees making international calls—we live in the Philippines and someone lost our key while we were gone, so we needed someone to help us get in. No one on the phone knew why no one was present and had no answers for us.), we finally got the help we needed, but the whole experience was especially frustrating as it kept us from precious time with family and friends during our one brief visit to the US of the year, all while trying to take care of our 1 year old baby while out in the sun.
But I must say, when we were finally helped, the staff was excellent, understanding, and attentive. I was expecting the worst after our experience, but ended up pleasantly surprised! Jessie, Dustin, and Cathy at the Mequon and Grafton locations saved the experience with Extra Space for my family, did what they could to help make things right. Their customer service is why I am rating 4 stars instead of 1. Continuing to work through this currently and hoping everyone follows through with the promises that were made.

I absolutely love this facility! It's very clean and provides carts to help transfer our belongings to and from the unit. Cathy the associate was so helpful and friendly. She gave me a tour and showed me how to access everything. Id definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking to rent some storage space.

Cathy is great to work with. From inquiry to move-in, she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She took time to help me understand the pricing and process and to make sure I was making the right decisions for my needs. It's clear she truly cares about people as people, not just as customers, and that makes a big difference. I'm very impressed with the service and experience I've received from Extra Space Storage personnel. In addition, I appreciate the clean, well-managed facilities and the ease of accessing my storage when needed. They always have carts available, the facility feels safe and secure, and the units themselves are in great condition.

I have used Extra Sace storage many times and in many states.
Cathy at Grafton was by far the best manager I have worked with.
Nothing is a problem, super quick to respond, and a real delight.
The facility and units are always clean.
With a drive-through for a large removal vehicle (14ft doors), it makes it easy to store before a move.
