one star because they don't sell kerosene anymore and they are too awful damn put out to tell you where do buy some with my empty jug in hand. Maybe I should just want for candy. If you are not a member in the co-op then you suck.Beer barn is overpriced. It's the retail clerks that ruin it for the hardworking polite feed & seed folks.

Stopped here on the way back from a trip to see the college kiddos. It was recommended and seems to be a "must stop" if in the area. Very nice and clean setting with the ice cream counter, a bistro, and of course, the cheese shop. The gal that checked us out was great - friendly and helpful. As for the cheese, it was nothing special. Good, yes, but nothing that I would go out of my way to travel and get. Good flavor. Good variety. Just not a blow your mind hit to the taste buds that makes you want more.

We come every year when we visit our family. Love the cheeses and atmosphere. We had a really nice woman ring us up. But when I went to hand in my ice cream ticket at the counter I dealt with a rather unpleasant woman. When I tried to " drop off" my ticket like the sign said, she was curt. That's a nice way of putting it. That kind of ruined my experience. Also my malt wasn't as good as it usually is. Melted and not well mixed. Must have been an off day.

This place is great! Awesome spot to stop and get all your dairy needs. Wide selection of cheese, highly recommend the aged "caveman" cheddar. Also a good place to stop for a sandwich or ice cream cone. We stop every time we head up to or return from the cabin.

This place is bustling! Stopped here on way home from Hayward. The restaurant is too busy at that time (25 min for a sandwich) so decided to skip that this time (must try to go back). But...the ice cream is sooo good, they are not too sweet, very creamy with good amount of nuts. Bought a bunch of cheese & beef stick...will keep you posted on those!

What a fun place to visit! So many things to see and try here! Our group all got ice cream, which was wonderful! The cheese selection is amazing! They have tables outside to sit and enjoy and fun photo props too!

Lots of specialty items and of course locally-produced cheese and other dairy and meat products. They also have an ice cream malt shop takeout counter and a small lunch area. Nicer inside than it looks from industrial vibe outside.

Great pit stop on the way up north, has a great selection of quality cheese, wine, and beer. Also has a little cafe to grab a little lunch. And an ice cream shop with just about every kind of ice cream you could want.

Their soft serve is delicious - both soft-serve yogurt and soft-serve ice cream was amazing. Cheese is delicious. Also got some fun stickers. Cashier was friendly and efficient.

Perennial favorite stop for us! Can never say no to an cream cone for the road. However I wish they had some more “adult” flavor choices in the freezer.

Now this is something I wasn't expecting. Honestly I had no idea what to expect lol. They have so many choices of dairy related products and more! My daughter wanted the ice cream which was delicious and of course I grabbed some fresh cheese curds. I can't wait to go back

Yeahhh, this is a MUST VISIT on your way to or from the Hayward area back to the Twin Cities, or if you just find yourself in the area!I found out about this gem from a friend, and am passing on the faves to you. Stop here for:- FRESH CHEESE CURDS. Need I say more? You can purchase a ton of different varieties and flavors of curds from other local vendors, but the Burnett fresh curds are the best!- ICE CREAM. They have hard scooped flavors or soft serve and both are simply to die for. This is peak dairy heaven, people!- CHEESE & MEAT. You'll find a massive fridge section of different local meats and cheeses. Support local for your next charcuterie tray! - SANDWICHES. Yep, you can get lunch or dinner here, too! They have a little deli onsite that does sandwiches, wraps, etc.Note: You can pay for your ice cream order when you check out for purchased goods, too! Sometimes the ice cream line gets crazy backed up, but trust me, it's worth it.
