“Firstly, I love their paint. Once I started using the Sherwin-William brand years ago, I was shocked at how superior it was to the brands I had been using at Home Depot. Can't/Won't go back.Yesterday (8/27) I went and picked up 5 (separate) gallons of paint that I had placed an online order for. I had my 4 and 6 year old daughters tagging along. My 6 year old wanted to carry a gallon by herself to my car-- okay fine. Looked like she was able to handle it.As soon as we walked out the front door, she dropped the can, it opened and paint was everywhere on the sidewalk and also splattered on my kid. My poor kid burst into tears (she wasn't hurt, just very embarrassed and traumatized). The two women who were helping me check out that day and were working were AMAZING. They first asked if she was hurt and then without any shame or guilt took care of the problem. I asked for a cardboard box to carry home the remnants of my broken paint can and remaining paint, and they said they were already in the process of making me a new can, no extra payment necessary.So, thanks for being so kind and understanding. I'm sure that this will become some weird core memory for my daughter, but hopefully she doesn't feel ashamed or sad about it and learned that accidents happen, it's okay.”
“He carried my items to the car! We need more of these in this world.I went in with 2 old, mostly full, gallons of paint, green and grey. I asked if they could mix them up and together to make a color closer to what I wanted, sage grey. He did so AND added more color to it. NO CHARGE. He was the best service/sales man I have ever crossed paths with. I am someone with 15 years of service and hospitality experience; I know good people when I see one. I didn't get his name but he was at the Grandview, Waukesha location today. 40/50 years old and he said he has worked there for 30ish years. This completely made my day. He was such a wholesome person and he made my whole week !! THANK YOUUU”
