“My brother and I have stayed at the motel twice now. It has reallt good proximity to the Teal and Lost Land Lakes and we have stayed here when we are doing Mountain Bike races with NICA at Mount Telemark.
The rooms are nice and clean, the access is easy, and the price is very reasonable. The freezer needed to be defrosted but that wasn't a huge deal. It's about 20-25 mins from Hayward and about the same or a little more to Cable Wi.
This is not a luxury 5 star big city hotel. It's definitely better than a lot of other smaller hotels, and motels. There is not a staffed office and there is not any kind of food available on site but there is a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge in the room.
Bonus is that it's just down the road from the Happy Hooker Bait & Tackle shop and nearby the Lost Land Lake Lodge where they have a good Friday night fish fry.
We'll definitely stay here again in the future.”

“We loved the location and quietness of this resort. The furniture in the cabins was a little outdated and not very comfortable. Keith the ground keeper was amazing to work with. Great location and we never got bored with the big body of water!”
“I visited here in August 2025. We were warmly welcomed by Kelly (maybe, I call everyone Kelly) in that way that you have to be nice to the customers and you can tell kills them slowly each time but they continue on for the love of the game. You give them a smile and you both know that you have to fake it or you'll end up destitute down at the casino at four am with some new best friends with interesting life stories. Help Kelly out, get down here and treat yourself.”
