Hours: Spider Lake Motel is a very clean, quaint, and comfortable place to stay. It is highly recommended by guests, many of whom return for multiple visits. The motel has been nicely updated and remodeled, offering nicely updated rooms that are not a luxury five-star hotel but are definitely better than a lot of other smaller hotels and motels. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable, with very comfortable beds ensuring an incredible night's sleep. Amenities include a microwave, coffee maker, small fridge, stove, refrigerator, big screen TV, and an in-wall fireplace. The bathrooms are very clean and relaxing, equipped with a steamer, blow dryer, plenty of towels, and extra blankets. There is also glassware and dish soap available. Check-in is easy and reservations are simple. There is not a staffed office or any kind of food available on site, but the management is great and attends to any requests promptly. The motel has very good proximity to Teal and Lost Land Lakes, the Happy Hooker Bait & Tackle shop, and the Lost Land Lake Lodge. It is close to everything, including many places to eat, from quick and simple to sit-down dining. For mountain biking and riding, trails are accessed right from the parking lot, with ample space for vehicles and trailers. The price is very reasonable, making it a great choice in the Hayward area. Guests find it to be the best hotel in the county and consistently state they will definitely stay here again.
