Hours: The Dollar General Distribution Center is a gated facility open 24/7. It is a busy location with good lighting, plenty of space, and is manageable to maneuver. Overnight parking is available onsite in a wide open and clean staging area. The delivery entrance is on Innovation Drive. Drivers must follow the scheduled appointment time and provide security with a phone number. There is a maximum of 15 minutes to get to the office after being called, or no detention pay. Unloading is quick. A requirement is to completely detach from the trailer and park next to it once at the dock. Drivers must have a high-visibility vest and straps to secure the load. The only bathroom is a heated and clean restroom at the guard shack, which can be a long walk. There is no drivers lounge. The staff are described as nice, helpful, professional, with smiling faces. Pets are allowed but must remain in the truck.
