“This place has saved the day in my times of need for food. Thank you to the food bank for your help. I appreciate the service and the helpfulness of the volunteers too.”
“Good food , good prices and just great people. Nice club to belong to and be a part of. The people are friendly and sociable. Lots going on and they are a worthwhile generous organization.”
“Really nice selection and a wonderful place to donate! They are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend shopping and donating to this amazing non-profit organization!”
“St Vincents is the best regional thrift store. Merchandise is clean, organized displays and affordable. The facility is always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. It is also easy to drop off donations for responsible recycling.”
“I recently had the opportunity to set up for a birthday party in the party room at the Kenosha YMCA, and I was very impressed! While I didn’t book the event myself, I was there to decorate and help with setup.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the room itself was super clean and spacious—perfect for hosting a celebration. They do only allow access 30 minutes before the party, so be sure to plan accordingly.
The setup worked out great: the kids started with swimming and then transitioned to the party room afterward. It seemed like a really fun, well-rounded experience for the guests, and from what I heard, it’s also very reasonably priced for a 2-hour party.
All around, a great space to host a birthday celebration in Kenosha! Highly recommend checking it out!”
“Life happens at Grace Welcome Center. Community happens. Brothers and sisters are fed. They are heard. They help. They are helped. GWC is a place that supports and needs to be supported.”
“I believe her name is Sybil. (That’s what the paper on her desk said) She’s the one who helps fax things. She’s SO sweet and helpful. She’s very friendly and talks to everyone.”
“Nice place. Everything's actually priced properly. Stores clean and big. Kids bought all kinds of clothes and books. Glad the clothing is all labeled and in the correct places.”
“Came here for quick testing, when searching online this place popped up, seems as though they offer a few different services & my time was approved, which I wasn't sure it would be given the state we're in right now. I filled out a couple of forms & my wait wasn't long at all. They were thuro with all their questions including allergies & medications. I didn't feel like I was rushed especially for being a first time patient there. All my questions were answered & information was provided should I have any more.”
“My experience with them was regarding emergency aid and they were wonderful and very helpful. It's important to have compassion and know that there are people out there trying to help others that are struggling.”
“Today I went to hope council for an assessment to reinstate my license and it was the smoothest process ever! The ladies were so welcoming and nice. Honestly, I dont understand how anyone could say a bad thing about the place because there was nothing but positivity here. Keep up the good work yal!”
“Stunning historical landmark along Lake Michigan. Went here for a tour, and I don't regret it. I love that they offer tours and keep this beautiful piece of history open to preserve their memories and significance in Kenosha. I highly recommend checking out!”
