Ace of La Crosse is a gem of a hardware store with friendly, helpful, and kind staff who really know their stuff. The service is exceptional. They have a great outdoors selection and fishing tackle, including whopper poppers. The helpful staff will lead you right to items you need and can assemble products like lawn mowers. While generally well-stocked, some specific items may not be available. It is a very favorably priced store on the South side of La Crosse, WI, loved by customers who find just the things they need.
Love Ace Hardware in general for helpfulness with my projects and friendly employees who are always ready to answer questions. This store lives up to their reputation and I’ll gladly go here before even thinking of going to one of the mega home supply warehouse sized stores.

Found what I needed, but never had anyone ask me if I needed help. Also checker messed up applying my rewards and had to redo checkout after I questioned her about it.

This is a great hardware store. They carry a robust inventory of quality products at a fair price. The store staff is very knowledgeable and are always friendly and helpful. You can't ask for more from a store.
