“Highly recommend Pogy's catering! They catered my wedding at Pettibone Resort in May. First off, Kaley the General Manager- she is awesome. She is very responsive over email and very knowledgable. We set up a food tasting and they gave us a large variety of things to taste. We have never been to Pogreba prior to this and we were so impressed. We want to eat here all the time now because the food was so good! I am super picky when it comes to restaurants because I have a lot of food issues- gluten free and somewhat dairy free and they were able to easily accommodate these restrictions. I had guests who were vegan and vegetarian and they were also able to accommodate this. We had the bruschetta chicken, grilled pork ribeye, roasted potatoes, green beans and tossed greens. Everything was SO good, especially the grilled pork ribeye. We had a lot of compliments from guests about how good the food was. The food service during the reception was wonderful. You also get all the leftovers after the wedding- I froze bags full of food and after being frozen, the food is still amazing! I highly recommend going with Pogy's for any of your catering needs!”

“My brother Gary is the bartender and I know he has a following of customers who love his charm and wit. His wife Tracy also works here because they love bowling... the culture and the people. It's a fun place to hang out.”

“It really is a nice vintage hall. Recently painted, giving it a lighter feel in the ballroom. There is a cash only bar. ATM available. Kitchen area for catering to use.Owners are great to work with on events.”

“If you are looking for an intimate venue for an event, do yourself a favor and book it here. I had my 30th birthday party here tonight, and I can’t sleep because I am elated with how it turned out! Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with. The venue is the perfect size for a small, private party (we had about 50 people and still plenty of room). The price is extremely reasonable. The food was AMAZING! We have been talking about the Hawaiian bbq pork wonton tacos since we left the venue. Jessica did a fabulous job decorating with our theme of “red carpet” and even found glitter to put in our drinks! The fact that I didn’t have to do anything except coordinate the food and numbers with Jessica made this party that much more fun for me. Words fail right now in describing just how magical this night felt for me and how nice Jessica and the bartenders were. If I could have a party here every year, I would. Heck, maybe I will.”

“Our entire family gets together at least once a month to enjoy this delicious food. I would definitely recommend this place. The wait time is a little long but it is well worth it.”

“Stayed in site 102 right next to the river, good Bass fishing . Full hookup except for sewer being that the resort is on the river and has spring flooding. There are two dump stations on the way out. Very nice and clean bath and shower house. Fire wood is available. Will definitely stay again.”

“This location and hotel is being renovated, but they tastefully choose good hours to make noise while under construction. Unfortunately, their thick, heavy steel doors are difficult for handicapped and elderly people to open or to hold open.Rooms: New furniture and appliancesSafety: For my 80-year-old mother, we had to go to her floor and room to open her door each time. If there had been a fire, she would not be able to exit her room via her very heavy door.Food & drinks: Other than their convenient-store area, you can walk to Festival Foods grocery store, a pizza place, and other areas.”

“We stayed at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse for a group event in July of 2023 for four nights. Our experience was absolutely wonderful and the hotel staff made our event a complete success. The location is great, within easy walking distance of many downtown restaurants and attractions, and it has a wonderful view of the waterfront park and river. The in-house restaurant, Three Rivers Restaurant and Bar, is stylishly designed, has a lovely river view, and the bar is full service with a very graceful yet comfortable feel. Our contact with the hotel for our group, Krista, was incredible! She went out of her way to send us information about local attractions and scenic routes which she thought might interest our car group. When we received our breakfast vouchers for the restaurant at check-in, we noticed she even imported the logo for our organization, Overdrive Adventures, and used that graphic on the top of the voucher! We were totally blown away at the attention to detail, and they even included our event logo on their digital display welcome/information boards.I can not stress enough how we felt that they genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and welcomed. When we needed space to informally gather our group, they helped us find space that worked. When we told them we were a car group, Krista made sure a car wash station was set up for us. They even designated a section of the parking area specifically for us. For car people, these little extras mean so very much. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone, but especially for car clubs and groups. You can't go wrong here!As far as our room goes, we had a city view room on the fifth floor which we loved because it let us see our cars. The king size bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. Everything about the room was well layed out and clean. Plenty of towels, plenty of space, plenty of light, and the air conditioning worked well without being noisy (and it was particularly hot the week we were in town, so good AC was a big deal). If I had to complain about anything (and I'm having to work to find anything to gripe about!) it was that the mini-fridge was not super cold and not designed to keep anything other than bottles or cans in. Frankly, it's not that big of a deal. In the overall picture, it's hardly worth even mentioning.I would definitely return whether it was for a group event or just for a nice vacation. A lovely location and a lovely experience.”

“Hotel was nice expect the free breakfast was very lacking. Every other hotel I stayed in has had a pancake maker or a waffle maker or hot eggs and bacon or potatoes. This hotel had none of that. It only had breakfast sandwiches. Not much of anything else. No fruit or anything. I was under the impression that is had eggs, but I guess I was wrong. I guess all Americinns are different. Because I stayed at one in another city and the breakfast was immense. The swimming pool was very small as was the hot tub but still nice to go in. It was very pleasant because with the skylight roof it felt like being in an outdoor pool. The roof let in a ton of sunlight. The location was beautiful. Right off the interstate and right on the river. There is a bar/restaurant that you can sit outside and eat/drink and enjoy the view.I thought the room was your typical budget hotel room. We didn't have a pool room so that was nice cause didn't hear a thing at night. AC was a bit noisy as was my husbands snoring but put in some good earplugs and didn't hear a thing. I slept 9 hours, I was so tired and the beds were so comfy.”
