first time I ever went to your store bought a refrigerator got a credit card with 5000 limit which was good since I need many things from you but canceling my fridge and giving up cartrrd from all the bs said I was getting 11 percent refund..being dealing with this since May been well almost paid off redbridge was to get not til July 7th but getting billed 4 it now saying not til 12th I give up after 5th phone call on hold 25 mins and just hung up calling tom to cancel it all and shop Menards never had prob getting refunds from them stinks cause your closer to me but rather drive 30 mins than hear lots if I hear anything at all.m and this site sucks try n correct and that dont even work so good bye

Two days; 3 fails. 1) Yesterday online inventory showed 17 units available for an item in lawn care. Drove to the store, nothing available, not even an empty box. 2) Ordered online, was to arrive tomorrow and now may not show up for a week or more. 3) went to look at shades for my outdoor screened in porch. I asked about a particular shade, not sure whether it was for outdoor use or not. The department sales person pointed out all the reasons it wasn't for outdoors. Ok, fine. What would you recommend? He didn't respond for a while, then said that he couldn't make a recommendation because some people like one thing; others like something else. That's ridiculous. When you go to a department to buy something or ask questions, don't you expect them to know the product. Isn't that what they are there for??? If he was new, he could have just said so. Honestly don't know what to think. Not sure I'll be going to HD unless it's something I already know well. Definitely won't be buying shades there.

I purchased 6 dining T Stitched chairs from Home Depot. The chair legs were all nicked down to the wood, threads on the seam of 1 chair were loose. You know over time that seam is going to split. 1 chair leg was cracked. I ordered these chairs online so I could do curbside pick up due to Covid. When I called the store to tell them about the cracked leg, I was told I had to bring the chair in. Very unhappy customer here. I really should just return the chairs!

They recently put in veteran parking. I get my 10% veterans discount. If you don't go during weekends, you won't find big crowds which is great. When you first walk in, they have hand sanitizer and offer free masks if you need one.

The sign at the door says masks are required. The last 2 times I’ve been in the store, I encountered 6 people without masks in a total of about 10 minutes. I mentioned this to an employee today. She just shook her head and said there’s nothing they can do. I do like the store and have made many purchases there, but with 2 excellent hardware stores nearby, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Friendly staff, lots of displays, clean store, and a wide variety of items. I love shopping here! Made a return today with no hassle and also purchased two new bronze finished floor lamps for a bedroom. Will be back :)

Purchased this microwave, quit working after one time. Went for months back and forth with Home Depot and Samsung. Had Home Depot tech come back to make sure it was installed correctly, then Samsung was out to look over microwave and tech said it clearly was submerged in water at some point and time. On the phone with Home Depot and Samsung today for OVER 3 hours, Samsung will not replace! They said it is a venting issue! I used for 4 minutes, water stains on back of microwave, rusty parts inside and they say that all happened in the first 4 minutes of use! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM HOME DEPOT OR ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. Talk about playing the blame game with Home Depot and Samsung and guess who gets screwed - the consumer! All my fault!

This morning at 9 o’clock I went online to purchase patio chairs. The Home Depot website said that they had five in stock. I picked out four, and paid for them. They were supposed to call me and let me know when they were ready for pick up. At 4:15 this afternoon we called the Home Depot to ask if we can come pick up the chairs. We were told yes they are here. After hanging up the phone we received a phone call a few minutes later stating they only had three of those chairs. Not wanting to risk not being able to find a fourth one of the site, we canceled the order. What a waste of the day. I could’ve gone to several other stores today and bought the silly chairs

It's unacceptable that almost none of your associates are wearing masks. If I need to ask for an associate to cut chain or wire for me and they are getting closer than 6 feet to me (and multiple employees did come right up to me), they need to be wearing a mask. It's that simple. Anything else at this point is dangerous and aggressively stupid behavior.

my daughter and i are redoing our kitchen and have recently made numerous trips to lake geneva's home depot. we ran into 3 different employees that gave us such good service!! so good in-fact i'm posting this review (i rarely Ever post reviews unless i'm extremely happy or extremely pissed).. last week, Terry in paint, yesterday was Jim from "doors & windows department", and today was Dave from freight!! all went above & beyond, very professional, knowledgeable, and KIND!! so very happy with their service!! thank you(:

one of the employees, Sam, saw me walking through the parking lot with several large bags of soil. he offered to help me load them into my car. He was able to get them loaded on half the time it would have taken me. I was very appreciative of the help!

I will NEVER buy carpeting or flooring at HD as their installation contractor does not know their business. They told me they could not install my new carpet on tile and left me with rolled up carpet in my living room for weeks. I called several managers and they were useless and did not look into the problem. We researched special glues that could be used and they literally did nothing- no refund, nothing. I contacted a local flooring company and they said it was not a problem and had my carpet installed in 2 days. Do not recommend them and I received poor service and now I’m fighting with HD to pay the installation bill. It’s the least they can do.

The associates that I spoke with today, were the most unprofessional that I have come across. One spoke to me so condescending, I wouldn’t follow his advice if you paid me. When a customer states that she does not like Behr paint, please don’t tell her that it’s the best. Maybe your Behr representative should not be giving advice to customers wanting an alternative. He was arrogant and rude.

After spending over 800 dollars no one wants to help load decking. This is even when the whole cart of 22 16 foot boards skidded off cart and was in the middle of the driveway. Asked 3 salesperson about fastener kits for decking and no one knew that brand, 44 in stock, I decided to order online and have shipped to house. Lousy customer service in Lake Geneva.
