The Apothecary Bar at Maxwell is a unique and eclectic bar inside a beautifully restored old mansion, offering an atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time. The space features large glass pane windows overlooking a serene garden lounge with outdoor fireplaces and a Bocce Ball court. It is a jewel in the city with a phenomenal atmosphere, service, and drinks. The mixologists create amazing and excellent cocktails, including delicious brandy old fashioneds, from a fresh herb garden, served in Erlenmeyer flasks. There is an outstanding selection of whiskeys. The service is great, with knowledgeable and skilled bartenders who are accommodating. It is a must-see, cool and unusual bar where guests can grab a drink and explore the mansion grounds or the speakeasy downstairs. The space is tight but the experience is awesome, making it a place visitors can't wait to come back to.
Extremely quaint and wonderful. Bartender was friendly and very willing to accommodate my quirky cocktail taste. So glad someone recommended visiting this place. I would go again and again.
