“Where would I even begin. Our technician was Jose Ramirez. ABOVE & BEYOND doesn’t even cover what Jose has gone through for us. When we walked into our US Cellular store, I should have known to stop the transaction we were doing with THAT individual and ASK for someone else to help us.
To make a long story short, it DOES MATTER who is helping you. This was a store manager that originally worked with us!! You would think you were in good hands! But NO! We ended up getting our first bill and to our horror, she screwed it all up and we were paying an extra $2000-+ more than we should have!!
I immediately called and said “ummm no!! Fix it!” That day, we got Jose Ramirez! Jose is forever our guy and I will shout it to the roof tops!! ALWAYS get JOSE!! He was actually present at the store the day we got the phones originally so he was fully aware of what we were supposed to be charged.
Now in today’s world… customer service is an entirely different thing than I grew up with. HELPING is something you did not because you had to, but because your heart knew it was the right thing to do.
Jose has fought tooth and nail for us to get the deal we were promised for nearly 6 months now! That’s a long time for him to not give up, keep it at the forefront of his mind and he was relentless in getting us what we were owed. He continued to push and continued to follow up with us every step of the way. I had 100% faith that with the amount of dedication he showed us, that he wouldn’t get it done.
He did! And he’s not done. He’s pushing ahead to continue to get us reimbursement for what is owed to us now as well.
It matters. Bottom line… it matters. HE made a choice to be a good human. He made a choice, to provide “CUSTOMER SERVICE” at a whole new level. To some it may be just a phone service. To me, it’s restored faith that there are truly amazing people out there.
Jose Ramirez!!!! You will forever be our guy! Thank you, for choosing to make this YOUR problem, even when it never should have been! You may even get a Christmas invite!!” :)
