“EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service Experience: My 87 year old Dad bought a Hewitt lift with Boat Boss from Schmidt approximately 2 years ago. He recently experienced issues with the Boat Boss....wouldn't lower the boat. My Dad has cancer and serious mobility issues....he LIVES for fishing and cannot access his boat without the lift. Fortunately, Neil the service manager understood his dilemma. Neil came over to my Dad's boathouse the SAME night after work to install a loaner to get Dad's lift back on line. With as busy as Schmidt is, this was simply REMARKABLE customer service. THANK YOU Schmidt and especially Neil for getting POPS back on the water to fish!!”

“Excellent job cutting a key for a 53 year old classic car. Another Ace store tried to do this & wouldn't use the X37 blank I told them would fit my lock cylinder. They cut the double sided key & a single sided for almost 10.00 total. It did not work. The Northland store cut the double sided key in about 5 minutes. Northland keys cost 1.99 single & 2.99 double. That's 1/2 what the other Ace charged me. Great job Northland Ace.”

As a small business + property owner I am constantly needing tools & supplies for various projects, & the team here is always so helpful!I have worked with team member Brent several times, including this morning & he is always extremely helpful + informative!I have rented tools a handful of times as well (including today!) & they always do a fantastic job of walking through proper use, clean up, etc on them!I also had some assistance today from several other team members, all of whom were amazing!The attitude, knowledge level & overall environment in this store is extremely impressive! “I had to find a tool that I could not remember the name of, I knew what it was used for but could not for the life of me name it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, never made me feel stupid for not being able to name a tool. We were able to find the snap ring pliers that I needed! Highly recommend this location!”

“I love, love, LOVE Harbor Freight! I spend as much money as I can there, as often as I can, because why not?! I love their Bauer line, and am a huge fan of their Icon and Doyle stuff as well. Yeah, I've purchased some duds from HF over the years (glues and zip-ties), but most everything I've gotten there has served me well for years and years!If you wanna complain about the quality of their "throw away" tools, I've got news for you: If you treat any tool from any of the big name tool companies like a "throw away" tool, they won't last long either! In my opinion, if you put a li'l cafe in each Harbor Freight store, you'd have the perfect retail chain!”

“Jeske Customer Service Department,I want to say how thankful I am that you had a solution to my loose set screws in all my bronze hardware handles. Additionally, the front door is working much better since switching out the inside mechanics upon your recommendation and replacement. But you especially went above and beyond when you replaced the hardware set that I messed up from mis-threading the hole for an upgraded set screw. I fully expected to pay for my mistake in that situation, but your department insisted on replacing the unit. “Victor W. is an amazing human! I was looking for floaties for our up coming trip and the website said you had them in the store and i couldn't find them. I happened to find an employee (Victor) and he was determined to help me find them. We couldn't find them so Victor took my number and said he will look for them and call me when he found them. Later that day he found them on a pallet and put some aside for me. I came in the next day to pick them up. He went above and beyond my expectations. So thankful there are good workers still. “Overall, I like supporting local businesses like Ace. (This specific store has new ownership within the last 3-4 years I believe.) It’s a great place to stop if you need something quick, and you don’t have to travel to the major hardware stores, when you can usually find what you need here. The service is friendly, generally very helpful, and the only drawback to Ace, is you do pay a little bit more for various products, but, like I said, you’re supporting a local business that prides themself in helping you find what you need in a more expedited manner in a smaller, condensed setting, than you would in a larger hardware store.”
