Place is a joke . Walk in and they ask if they can help you tell them no thanks I got it and they hound you . Nothing is organized here. My son use to work here and the managers and owner literally called him names and belittled him . Something that should never happen to an employee or a child.

Overall, I like supporting local businesses like Ace. (This specific store has new ownership within the last 3-4 years I believe.) It’s a great place to stop if you need something quick, and you don’t have to travel to the major hardware stores, when you can usually find what you need here. The service is friendly, generally very helpful, and the only drawback to Ace, is you do pay a little bit more for various products, but, like I said, you’re supporting a local business that prides themself in helping you find what you need in a more expedited manner in a smaller, condensed setting, than you would in a larger hardware store.

I bought a garden hose sprayer from harbor frieght, and realized it didnt fit my hose. So i went into Ace looking for an attachment that would let me connect the sprayer to my hose. The guy at Ace was just SMARTER than me. The spayer already had an attachment for the hose connected to it, and the Ace employee was able to get the attachment out for me to use. FREE TRIP vs. him trying to sell me something i really didnt need. I appreciate that. Thats why you don't shop at H.F and you go to Ace, the place with the helpful hardware folks.

Two instances really stick out to me. Just recently I received a gift that was purchased from Ace hardware in little chute, I had to return it because I already had the product purchased for me. I was giving the original receipt to make returns quick and easy. I went to the service desk and said I needed to return the gift. No problem the associate said, he just needed the original credit card and a signature. I exclaimed that this was a gift so I don't have the card used to purchase the item. No problem, just a signature then and the associate said a full refund will be credited to the card. This was a gift purchased for me from someone else..... The other instance was a few winters ago my snowblower drive belt broke while using it. I took it out and drove to the Ace, two of the workers were outside watching it snow. I grabbed the broken belt and before I even got in the store the guys outside said they don't carry that anymore. Could you at least look I asked. Nope, they said, don't have it. Disappointed I went home and shoveled the rest of the snow. The following day, Monday, I stopped at the snowblower/lawnmower fix it shop with broken belt. They gave me the right one and said next time go-to Ace on the weekends they carry all the belts we do. Sure enough they did in fact have it..........

I usually know what I need, but this visit I didn’t, and we actually were there past close, but the staff were extremely helpful and patient with us. She helped us find exactly what we needed to fix our screen door!

I come to Ace a lot we moved in down the road and the wife and I have been fixing a lot of projects around the house so it’s nice that I can cruise down the street for mostly everything I could need they always have items in stock and the employees always ask if you need help or if you need anything. And as a rewards member they always send me coupons to use and it helps with the frequent trips for supplies!
