“It was my first time at this venue and I must say, it's a beautiful setting. I was there as the videographer for my friend's wedding and the day/weather couldn't have been better. I was in comfortable shoes and clothing which definitely made moving about the property easier. If there's one thing I would suggest to make it even better, it would be adding paved surfaces to the parking lot and some other areas. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to walk around in dress shoes all day and traverse the grounds without slipping, especially after the adult beverages start flowing. It's a small consideration but not enough to change the rating. It's unique, private, and accommodating.”

“Absolutely loved it. Very beautiful. Very charming. The whirlpool tub was amazing! Staff were super friendly! Very clean. The bar on the main floor is gorgeous. The bartender Bill makes the best brandy old fashions. The only concern about the room is the squeaky floor boards. Our upstairs neighbor was up at 5 am and kept walking around the room until about 8 and we couldn't sleep at all during that time. That is not the hotel's fault, just something to mention. Over all, it was very quiet- just that time period with the people walking around upstairs”
