Burrows Park is a peaceful and convenient lakeshore spot with beautiful sunset views. It is a clean, dog-friendly place with upgraded restrooms and plentiful parking. The park offers a hilltop shelter, wooden picnic tables, and green areas for BBQs and relaxation. It is a top choice for summer gatherings, known as a friendly and calming place. While it has a playground and is great for windsurfing, it does not have a beach or restaurants. Visitors find it a lovely and quiet park to enjoy the lake.
Another beautiful summer evening at the park. The fire place was spectacular and a bucket of water retrieved from the lake extinguished the evening. Beautiful Park right on Lake Mendota. We were in the pavilion and it nicely accommodated or group of 40.

It's a lovely park tucked away in a secluded area. Nice and quiet.
