I worked with Madie and Kenny at the Odana Rd. location in Madison to both buy and sell vehicles. These employees are both exceptional at making customers feel comfortable and informed throughout the buying and selling process. I would recommend CarMax to anyone looking to buy or sell a vehicle, especially with the expert assistance of Madie or Kenny!

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!
A. they set me up with a HEINOUS APR of 22% when i had a 750+ credit score. but i needed a car at the time. told me in my face and joked about it at the end of the sale “did you see how i redirected you when you tried to get the price down teehee” (for the car itself) fr bro? after we had a whole deep life talk and i told him i was struggling at the time. they do NOT have your best interest here. NOT FOR a second. then i went through hell trying to refinance and figure out what they had me sign up for. i was uneducated obviously because it was my first time buying a vehicle and they ran with that. and today, i find out from the shop that my transmission fluid was never changed @ the 60,000 mile interval when i bought the car with 80,000?? you guys couldn’t change the fluid? i’m at 90,000 miles and how was i gonna know it wasn’t done? what if i drove the fluid for 120,000 miles?? and when i call, cordially, they absolutely refuse to change it for me or reimburse me for the service because they “deemed it wasn’t necessary.” so you opened it up looked at the fluid and couldn’t bother to change it when KIA recommends it at 60,000 miles? 👍🏼 never again

I ended up returning the car I purchased (through no fault of CarMax), and I still wanted to take the time to give a shoutout to the Madison Carmax. They were extremely helpful and straightforward throughout the entire process. Jeremy, Sam, and Alexis were all fantastic to work with. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.

I am beyond happy with my purchase at CarMax Madison… I’ve purchased before in Dallas and this was even better, in between my trips there I stopped at the Kia dealership and they were not great… neither was their stock… everyone I worked with at CarMax Madison was great and since they work as a team, they skip the games, the angles and the hard selling. Special shout out to Chuck, Alexis, Kenny, Jeremy and Alex. These days a brand new car is a tough purchase these guys have a great selection and their extended warranty is 110% worth it!! I got a Stinger!!

Our car buying experience at Carmax Madison, WI was exceptionally good. The process from beginning to end was wonderful and we remain very happy we worked with an outstanding team for our new vehicle. Our sales agent, Jophia, carefully walked us through the purchase process and made sure we were totally happy with our decision. She took care of every detail including last-minute cleaning.
Before we departed the Carmax dealership arrangements were made for us to secure replacement of two missing parts from the vehicle. When we got the vehicle home after a more than a 2-hour drive away, we became aware that the tires were very close to the end of their useful life. When we called Carmax Madison to to tell them about this issue, they did not hesitate to tell us to put new tires on the vehicle and they covered that cost. They completely stand behind each vehicle sold.
We highly recommend Carmax to everyone for the purchase of a new vehicle.

honestly i had no idea you could get a car without a cosigner if your credit wasn’t the greatest until now.
if you are needing help getting a car & have a downpayment- head into car max. there are many
options to choose from and they’ll surely find a vehicle that’s right for you.
