Motel 6 Madison, WI - East is located in an area some find rough, but the hotel itself receives positive remarks. The staff is consistently described as amazing, helpful, and friendly, providing great customer service and making check-in effortless. Several staff members are highlighted for their efforts and respect toward guests. Rooms are noted as being quite amazing, very spacious, accommodating, clean, and cozy with comfy beds. The decor is considered not bad. The location is convenient with a mall across the street, everything within walking distance, and food and drinks all around. While some room maintenance issues and noise from other guests are occasionally noted, the staff is responsive. The hotel is also pet-friendly.
The exterior was a bit shabby-looking and the hallway carpets were stained. That made me nervous but the room itself was just fine. Some of the clientele looked down-and-out, but then again, it wasn't The Four Seasons or The Waldorf.

Stayed here once while on the way to Illinois for a cosplay festival. Good, comfy, cheap, handy place. Pretty good service to guests. Will come back if I’m in Madison for something and need a cheap place to stay.

Housekeeping and front desk have been great! They have a great breakfast and give good weekly rates!
