They lost my package and there is a terrible support system in place for recovering packages. I’ll be using fedex from now on. Shame on me for putting my faith in a government service.

The staff at the Hilldale USPS are super professional! Special shoutout to Steve, who went beyond his way trying to help me locate an important document that was bouncing between N.Y. and W.I. due to a wrong bar code. He reported the issue to USPS consumer affairs and helped to correct the barcode. He provided constant update on the progress of the tracking, and made sure that I got the package in time. I am so grateful for having such good care from customer service at the Hilldale USPS, and would definitely recommend this office to other customers!

The lady who works here is amazing. she is very kind and helpful. This place seems overwhelmed by a lot of customers, but she handles it great.

The postal service employee at the Hilldale post office was very helpful! He helped me complete the process to have my deceased father's mail forwarded to my address, answered all my questions, provided helpful advice, and shared sympathetic condolences. I am grateful for the exceptional customer service he provided to me, at 9am this morning, October 20, 2023.

A young Lady in the front is not polite. I greeted her with smile and asked for the hold mail then expressed appreciation to her. She didn’t say any words to me, even a simple nod to show the response til I leave. So unbelievable to experience the different treatment in my favorite city. However, she did talk to the last White customer.

This post office wouldn't deliver my packages (delayed since last week), and would not pick up their phone. Why list a phone number if you are not going to bother answering it? They also wrongly charged my media mail materials. I was charged additional 200 dollars for my books, telling me there were children's books in both of my boxes. One of the boxes only had my medical school books and loose leaf pages. So frustrating. I am glad I used UPS for more important items.

I see the other reviews. I'm not sure if it's the same staff member or not, but I can see how she may come across as rude. To me, it just seemed like she was speaking quickly to try to clear the line faster after working most of the day, possibly largely unassisted. Dunno if that helps. The line was a wait, technically both people in front of me had already been seen but it still took 10-15 mins. There was another staffer there, but had little effect (thier customer's complcated-seeming issue was likely a factor). Someone else kept popping through, but never stopped to open a register. But, if you're going to the Post Office counter, be prepared for a wait, I've certainly encountered far worse. The parking lot was, if anything, my biggest gripe. Even with a nearly empty lobby the lot only had about one free space, and since it's diagonally slanted at and right next to the entrance (helpfully signed 'Postal Vehicles Only - Strictly Enforced') I was lucky to just barely hard over enough to fit. Missing it seems like a setup for a Dr. Evil-type moment due to the building wall a couple yards back. To top it off I got panhandled on the way in - not the USPS's fault, but it didn't add to the experience.Service was otherwise prompt and helpful.

Lazy place. Can’t even fix a new Mail Drop box. It’s been out of order for months

Worst USPS I've ever been to. Went there twice. Each time was a different lady in the front. They were both rude and unprofessional. One of them told me to create a shipping label online and print it myself because it was about 20 cents cheaper than the first class mail, which she would need to work on it herself.

Lady in the front is so rude to every single customer then complains about other customers to the next person in line. Terrible people skills everyone was looking around like “is this really happening” I’ve never met someone so rude.

Always a single employee for long lines. Even during covid time. Update:Here again several months later. Same issue. Only 1 employee and long lines of over 20 minutes wait

Gotta agree with the other one star comments. Two different women employees I've interacted with at this location are rude, rude, rude.
