I normally never write reviews, but the experience with USPS has been so disappointing to the level of wanting to share publicly. I sent a Christmas gift out-of-state that was lost, and I went in-person to address the situation. The manager was on speakerphone and the staff were clearly blaming me for their own error. A staff member took my personal phone number and the manager said she would call me to follow-up. I never received a call.
The gift I had sent was very sentimental - it included a memoriam gift as well as a letter expressing my gratitude for support during a traumatic event. Not only did it not arrive, but to twist it into being a customer problem and a manager's failure to follow through, is extremely disappointing and frustrating. Unfortunately, USPS has lost my business for future reference. I've been going to UPS instead which has so far been a much better experience.

These people are unbelievable here. My package leaves Florida in route to Madison Wisconsin were I live. Then when it gets to distribution center it's should get delivered to my adress but insted somehow it's in route to Minnesota it's unbelievable. Why are you sending my package to Minnesota I live in Madison Wisconsin. Here is proof of it.

It is a place that does a complete chore. They have not been able to deliver a package for days. When I wanted to go and get it, they did not want to give it. The package that came from abroad in a week could not be delivered here in a week. Their service and policies are bad, no one is helping.

If I could give zero stars I would. This distribution center has to be one of the worst ones in the country. Not only did they lose both my and my boyfriends mothers day gifts and said they were delivered when they haven’t been, they ALSO lost another of one of my birthday presents for my boyfriend! At this point, I’m convinced there’s theft going on here, because how do you lose THREE different packages in ONE week???? Absolutely disgusting. I’m going down there on Thursday, and they better have my packages

Stopped in on a Wednesday at 1:25 was out the door at 1:30. A simple in person address change was efficient and pleasant. The clerk assisted with everything I needed, was polite, courteous and told me not to rush as I was typing frantically to pull up the proper information. Fabulous service.

We all love the USPS, be patient and realistic, the logistics of how your packages and letters travel is crazy wild, not just delivering across town to your neighbor, be patient.

I have repeatedly tried to call to get a hold of someone from this post office and no one answers the phone, when I am sent to a representative I get sent to voicemail with an inbox that is full so I can't even leave a voicemail.

Is a very complete services United States Post Office. Offers passport photos and appointments for getting passports. The lobby has all the mailing necessities including, bulk mailers, Priority mail envelopes of all sizes and cardboard mailers. Also tapes and stationery available.
There is a spinner with Hallmark greeting cards & envelopes and during the Holiday season in winter, Christmas, Hanukkah & generic seasons greetings cards also available on a 4' pallet outpost in the lobby.
Mon through Friday the staff is present 8am-7pm & Sat 8am-4pm in the lobby to assist customers on official USPS business, including printing postage labels & selling stamps: commemorative panes of stamps and Forever generic postage stamps.
Finally, there are Post office boxes available for renting if you have security concerns or just wish to limit mail buildup in your residential mailbox.

The worst service ever. I hope Trump changes how they operate. The Madison location keeps sending my package back and forth with the Des Moines, IA location and they never deliver it. Pay attention to what you’re doing! Then I try to call and only get a POS automated system that tries getting you off the line. Can’t get a live person. So ridiculous. Hate this place.

Madison Wi USPS distribution center needs to be shut down. Or fire everyone that works there and start over. Extremely unreliable shipping service. Days late delivery of packages to my residence, or “lost” packages when they reach the Madison USPS facility. It doesn’t help to use the tracking numbers provided with the packages shipped. Once the packages reach The Madison Wi USPS facility, who knows when the staff there will decide to deliver them. If they don’t “lose” them.
