Even though it was after hours, and she wasn’t your patient, Dr Joe called her when her cat was experiencing what appeared to be a urinary track issue. She was frightened after being told the treatment would cost about $3000. Dr Joe‘s calm, reassurance, thoughtful advice, and suggestions for more affordable treatment options made an incredible difference and eased her anxiety. I am truly grateful for everything you did.”

“I chose Community Care Vet Clinic for two choices, one mainly because of the many years of experience that Dr.Deb has and two location! Each time my pup and I go in there our trust has grown! We are treated with respect and they are always easy and quick to address my pups needs in a very timely manner! It is normally very quick and easy to book an appointment! I have even called just with concerns and was able to talk it out with the receptionists which gave me peace of mind when I was in panic mode! The Vet Techs are very knowledgeable and very kind and treat my pup very well and try their hardest to comfort her each visit! When we first met her, our dog was experiencing extreme pain, and we were worried about his quality of life. After just a couple of acupuncture appointments, we saw an incredible improvement - the pain that had been affecting him so significantly was gone. From there, we continued with regular maintenance appointments, which helped keep him comfortable and enjoying his life for years. Dr. Andrea is exceptionally knowledgeable about acupuncture and took the time to understand our dog and what he needed at every stage of his life. She was always patient, compassionate, and willing to answer our questions. We never felt like he was just another patient; she genuinely cared about him. When his mobility declined toward the end of his life, she was there for him again. Her knowledge, kindness, and generosity helped us navigate an incredibly difficult time with more comfort, hope and support than we could have had otherwise. We will always be thankful for the extra years of comfort she helped give our dog and for the compassion she showed him - and our family - through the very end. “I truly can’t say enough good things about Paws and Claws Mobile Veterinary Service—finding them has genuinely been life-changing for me.
As a multi-fur baby family (and I say family very intentionally), the way they operate just makes sense. They come right to your home, which completely removes the stress of loading animals into the car, managing multiple appointments, and all the chaos that usually comes with vet visits.
What I especially appreciate is the flexibility. You can schedule multiple pets at once, but even if you don’t, the appointments aren’t rushed or stacked so tightly that there’s no room to breathe. If a conversation about one pet leads to questions or concerns about another, they’re able to pivot and help in the moment. That kind of care and responsiveness is rare.
I also want to address something I think people might hesitate on—the house call fee. Don’t let that scare you off. By the time everything is said and done, the cost is comparable to (and often even less than) local clinics. And when you factor in the convenience and the reduced stress on your animals, it’s honestly a no-brainer—especially if you have multiple fur babies.
And beyond the service itself, the people matter. Dr. Hunley and Katie are absolutely wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly committed to what they do.
I cannot recommend Paws and Claws enough. This is how veterinary care should feel!”

“This is the best place for animals with behavioral issues. My chihuahua sees Dr Mcclanahan for behavioral support. The clinic’s fear free approach really supports him and he’s stopped panicking when he goes to the vet. He was a frequent flyer for a bit with a broken paw. Maggie contracted pneumonia and we realized it might be something she wouldn't survive. However, we were still overcome when we realized that when we were thinking we were there to pick her up for a night home to say goodbye before taking her to her own primary vet that instead this was the end. It was such a helpless and sad feeling to have to loose Maggie. We felt the Jordan and Crystal did all they could to ease Maggie's suffering and to help us with our loss. We will always be grateful we took Maggie to the UW for the best possible care available. She was a loving, always working dog to the very end. Thank you.”

“I have had multiple cats treated here and I travel 3 hours to come to the clinic because there is no finer care anywhere. I had previously gone to my local vet for problems which they were unable to diagnose and let alone treat, and as soon as I bring my cats here, they are immediately diagnosed correctly and treated. My local vets would have me spend thousands with multiple appointments and still get everything wrong but when I come here with my cats, everything is wonderful.
