“My wife's 2011 Honda Odyssey van had a timing belt replacement done at Honda toyota dealership. Not 2 weeks later the new timing belt broke destroying the engine. They refused to cover any warranty because I brought my own parts. Lesson learned there. Honda dealership quoted me $5,000 to $6,000 for the engine and labor to swap. So we decided to purchase a low millage engine online for $1,400.00 and had Tom do the motor swap and new timing belt install on the newer engine. It was the best decision we have ever made regarding mechanic work. 2 weeks later we were back on the road and 2 years later it's still running like a new van. And total cost was half of what the dealership wanted.”
