“This is an old resort. The new owners have made a strong effort to maintain and update the cottages and furnishings (much appreciated). The lake is the best feature, crystal clear and well kept. The bar is a throwback. Good service, but the atmosphere is time-machine worthy. It's awesome! We haven't been to the restaurant yet this year.”

“Staying at the Acorn Ridge Motel is like taking a step in time. Eric is the owner and gave me a little of its history. It was built in the mid-60's and it is fantastic. It's got the Kleenex box built into the wall in the bathroom and the little soap dishes are shaped like the leaves off of a tree. Great attention to detail!!”
