“We have been McKay Nursery customers since 1993 when we had our prior home built in Palatine, Illinois. We built our new retirement home in Sun Prairie and moved in March 2023. The positive experiences with McKays at our Palatine home, made choosing McKay Nursery a natural choice for landscaping our new home. We started working with Jon in January 2023 to develop a landscape plan. Jon worked diligently and patiently with us creating the design of a beautiful outdoor living space offering year round color, varying textures and heights, tranquility and privacy. He has been great at timely answering all questions, helping us select pavers, and providing alternatives/visual aids.Mid August, phase one of our landscape plan completed, and it is absolutely gorgeous! Jeff and Jon orchestrated the entire project perfectly! Utility lines were buried and an irrigation system was installed while all other work required continued efficiently. We truly appreciated all that went into this coordination, as we had minimal disruption of utilities and our beautiful sod is being watered without our intervention.Jeff’s crew worked tirelessly and meticulously every day. Methodically clearing out the accumulation of weeds and buried rocks, and transforming our property into a masterpiece by creating elegant bedlines and paver curves, with solid foundation and superb quality in workmanship. What they did went beyond our expectations. Absolutely amazing! We have experienced contractors who would rush through a job.
