I wanted to get my mom something special for a milestone birthday and decided to make my own box by ordering a handful of things that she would enjoy. I was stunned to see the package go out the very next day! My mom was so happy with the gifts and pleasantly surprised to have something before her birthday!”

My daughter and I entered the store for the first time. We were both greeted warmly and asked if there was any we were interested in. I virtually never leave a store as this type without purchasing something.
I stated I wasn't sure and the stated in the same tone and volume I had just finished working.
The owner/ manager and employee turned to each other and started to chat. No worries. We browsed the store and I needed a quite replacement item and I found it. My daughter picked up a couple of items.
The store is well organized and seems to cater to a variety of clientele. Parking is sufficient.”

“I forgot to write a review awhile ago. Every time I go there the staff is beyond cool and always super helpful. I have gone there several times over the last year. One specific time I really wanna highlight is around March 2025 I had stopped there and bought a few pieces and while I was talking with them I had forgotten to grab one of my pieces. By the time I had remembered about it I was home and 3 hours away. I texted them hoping I could stop by in a few weeks to pick it up or figure something out. They ended up making it an amazing experience and were just beyond nice about it and sent me the item a few days afterwards. These guys are awesome go above and beyond and have a great selection of glass and trinkets, I will continue to shop here every time I come to Madison.”

“Worth the trip and the time. Janice is a spirited lady with a passion for beautiful imported baubles and carvings. It is literally like an Indonesian "bazzarre" visiting her shop, but I always leave with a few little gems. This is my go-to place when I'm looking for a low-cost, unique gift for my friends and family. Her website does not do it justice--you need to call and start the conversation of what you are looking for. Here are a few headband/masks that we got.”

“Full disclosure I have yet to be in the shop, but I have been in love with a lamp that I saw passing by the window for a bit and my fiancé got it for me and it’s PERFECT. He told me about how kind they were here, and even helped explain how to break it apart and put it back together with good advice on which lightbulbs give off the best light. Can’t wait to go back for myself soon!”

The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and showed me things I didn't notice (like the fact that a rack with flowy skirts also had pants) and that you sell belts and on and on. “I’ve been to Katy’s multiple times over the past couple of years and have always had a positive experience, Katy and the other store clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful. Recently my partner and I got our wedding bands there and couldn’t be more excited! These rings are from a Diné (Navajo) designer in New Mexico called The Supersmiths who are known for their unique inlay work. My partner and I first discovered their designs at a Native jewelry store in Arizona and through their website we were able to find that we could purchase their work locally right here in Madison! “Why do I love this place? Let me count the ways!
Small local business that tries to carry items that are made by artists that are local or at least from the USA. There are a lot of fun gifts with Wisconsin theme. The space is gorgeous lovely wooden floors and feels so historic and cozy. I love the way it’s decorating and how I feel when I’m in this space. So many people in my life are trying to downsize so purchasing a useful object such as a dish cloth or an apron or some tiny cute opossum or puppy or capybara that they can put on their desk or stick to their computer. The jewelry is very fun and I love the local artists. The owner and the people who work here interact like you wear a long lost friend and they really appreciate you coming by and supporting small businesses. They even put photographs of your pet up on the wall.”
