When I moved to Colorado, I left behind a woman with Down syndrome who is very dear to my heart. I try to do something special for her on her birthday every year. A few years ago, I decided to have flowers delivered.
I don't particularly like using national chains with "Tele" or "1-800" in the name. I found Chet and Leona's while searching for a local florist with the option to order online.
Their prices are very reasonable, and they have plenty of options in my person's favorite colors.
The first time my person received her flowers, she spent a good 5 minutes smiling, laughing, and blowing kisses through the phone. She was so happy! I decided then she would be getting flowers every year. And every year since, Chet and Leona's has delivered beauty and joy to her on her special day.”
