Galst Food Market is a legendary grocery store and a staple in Milwaukee for decades. It is a unique neighborhood store with a great variety of food, including hard-to-find soul food items, different types of smoked meats, and old stuff alongside new items. Prices are reasonable, though some note they can be high. The staff is very friendly. However, there have been issues with expired meat products, and the shared entrance and exit could be dangerous in emergencies.
I LOVE THIS STORE AND THE MANAGER HERE IS GREAT, the other location however I would NEVER GO BACK, they are happy that you spend your money with them, they make you feel welcomed like an appreciative customer boy ol boy this is one of my favorite places so underrated……..

My husband was at the counter when he noticed the pack of hotdogs were molded which made us now check all the meat. They need to check their products weekly

Always a unique food market except for the entrance/exit are shared and could be dangerous in case of emergencies. Otherwise everything was fine
