“This store has wonderful customer service! I've always had great experiences, but the service today was exemplary. I brought my newborn baby to go shopping with me, and the lovely gentleman who was bagging my groceries gave me a little bouquet of flowers as a congratulationson becoming a mom. It was so kind and thoughtful and truly brightened my day! The employees know how to go above and beyond!”
“IF YOU DON’T LIKE SAUERKRAUT, give Wioletta’s fresh sauerkraut a try and I assure you that this healthy fermented food will be something you’ll go back for more. They also carry a delicious spreadable sheep cheese that’s delicious. This little market appears to be a treasure of products that I have yet to explore in future visits.”
“I enjoyed looking around the store and chatting with the owner about recent trips to Ireland and Northern Ireland. They have a wonderful selection to choose from. I created a basket of my husband's favorite Irish snacks for Christmas and he loved it! Can't wait to bring him with me next time.”

“I definitely have enjoyed driving out of my way to shop at this store, even though the traffic & driving is not good in the area. Staff is kind & helpful. In comparison to other stores, the meat, cheese & dairy section is about as fresh and healthy as possible. I also found the frozen vegetables to be very good quality too, even though bug free processing tends to be a new idea for me. ⭐️ 5 stars ⭐️”

“May 18th we went in to buy meat for the grill and our cashier was phenomenal. She was so happy and conversed with each of us customers. Her genuine and pleasant personality made the stop such an enjoyable experience.The beef ribs and cilantro lime chicken breast were absolutely delicious.”

“Stopped by to pick up some sweets for a visiting guest who grew up in Ukraine. She was super excited and loved all the ones we picked out. Our kids loved the kvass and the blackcurrant zefir. There was great selection of packaged goods and pleasant staff. The employees seem to have a good relationship with the customers and I am excited to go back.”

“Great turkey club sandwich. The peachy green smoothie is also very good.
They have an amazing selection of organic and healthy foods. I would highly recommend much of their meats as they're all free range and pasture raised animals and the difference in taste is huge compared to the factory meats like tyson.”
“The man at the cash register, which I am assuming is the owner, is cool with me. The man who makes the food orders in the back of the store is always very nice and he always makes sure he washes his hands before making our food. We've never been disappointed with our order! Merci beaucoup!”

“The produce department is so organized and when you first enter the store you see the lovely floral and plant selection ? then you head over to the seafood department which is just impeccable! I also love the amazing service at the bar from Chrissy and Haley- there is a great wine selection. Lastly, the certified cheese professional they have on staff is lovely ?”

“Very nice clean store well stocked. I really hate to see this place shut down. I always wondered why this store didn’t sell beer, and wine coolers. Perhaps even do like some of the other corner stores that have a huge crowd such selling deli meat, or buying raw food with a quest card and allow the store to cook it for you which is a genius idea that they have been doing successfully in Detroit and Chicago. And it just started for a few years here in Milwaukee. AND you guys would be the ONLY store in that vicinity that is doing that. Bc all the stores up and down center are constantly packed bc people be buying the uncooked food and letting the store cook it for them. It’s just a suggestion.
I hope you guys could give it another chance and even NETWORK with other business owners,caterers and food truck people to do your food ordering as a group bc you will get major discounts that way and be able to lower food cost for your customers. Thanks!”

“Our one-stop shop for bread and meat! The fresh meat they sell is impeccable. After being a regular customer for atleast 4 years I can confidently say that the quality of their meat is cleaner and better than any other halal meat shop I’ve ever been to in the entire region. I’m not hesitant to walk to the meat counter fearing any smells, no heavy detergent scent lingering in the air nor any is there any raw meat smell. Their cuts are clean, processing is right in front of you and when you take it home the meat doesn’t even need to get re-trimmed of any residual fat-it’s that clean. No gamey smell when you’re cooking the beef, chicken or lamb. It’s 30 minutes away from me but well-worth the miles driven for the excellent quality they provide. Not to mention the bread they sell. It gets requested by relatives from other states and is a must for me to buy when I go to visit!”
“I’ve been shopping here for 20 years and I love it. It’s expensive but I love it. I don’t think people realize how hard it is to find and keep a good staff. Furthermore, I don’t think people realize how hard it is to cook for hundreds of people each day and keep those hot cases stocked. Lastly, dealing with the stubborn elderly or the snotty and demanding cat ladies day in and day out can drive an employee to be short with you. They aren’t therapists or caregivers, they are young kids trying to make a buck. If you expect a hug and a conversation with a busy employee you should try going to a family members home for dinner. This place deals with a lot and they do it very well. I go to this store 4x a week and I see what the staff puts up with first hand. They are actually pretty great.”
