This Swing Park location has closed

Swing Park is a very unique and fun park in a cool location under the Holton Street bridge. It is an industrial space made of recycled tires and heavy chains, which allows it to be removed for bridge maintenance. The park features some fun and unusual swings, including adult-sized swings, a baby swing, a swing you can stand or lay on, and a handicap accessible one. There are not as many swings now, maybe four in all. The location is great, within walking distance of the Riverwalk, Brady Street, Water Street, and Lakefront Brewery. A beautiful mural is across the street. Visitors enjoy walking on the bridge directly behind the park, which spans the Milwaukee River. The park can be a little run down and messy with sand, and it is right next to a busy street, so it may not be great for tiny kids. It is sometimes closed for bridge work and neighborhood events are sometimes hosted there. Even on a rainy day, it is a place to find fun.
