Veterans Park sits on Lake Michigan’s shore and offers a kite store, grassy areas, a section of the Oak Leaf Trail, and a lagoon with paddle boat rentals. The park is a popular spot for biking, running, and skateboarding, and visitors enjoy kites and swam boats. Many areas are easy to explore for photography and walking. Dog friendly, though goose poop can be an issue. Facilities include restrooms and a picnic area with plenty of space. The park hosts events such as HarleyFest 2024 and honors veterans with a court of honor.
This is a beautiful park. It always has been and always will be. We like to walk on the path near the water. I used to rollerblade here but I would be afraid to now. It’s a beautiful view of the water:

Clean park and bathroom facilities. Very nice and even walking g paths. Beautiful park with MKE skyline next to Lake Michigan.

Lots for all to do. Great ice cream at the kite shop. Sit by the water and enjoy a burger.
