“Simply amazing amazing people. I had a little Barn bird run into my car on the highway. It was so traumatizing because he hit it and then he kind of flipped over and landed on the other lane. I immediately turned around to go to save him and by the grace of God he was still in the middle of the road with all these cars going over him. That poor bird I ran out into the middle the road and scooped him up and he was still alive I right away called Northwoods Wildlife center. Immediately they wanted pictures and they wanted information and they guided me through the whole process. I brought him with me to the flea market and put them in a blanket and watched him. And I kept sending updates and then they said you know you just need to bring them in. The whole time that poor little bird was trying to keep his eyes open and he was just laying on his side and breathing hard and I just kept praying I didn't think he was going to make it but they said bring him in bring him in I kept praying and praying and then halfway to the Wildlife Center all of a sudden I look over and he's moving and then before I know it I can't find him and then before I know what he's perched up on my car seat Anyway I made it to the Northwoods Wildlife Center they were so kind that came up and got him right away and by then he looked much better. They told me that they would give him some pain medicine and watch him and then they would actually go back to where I hit him so they could release some close to home Please donate to these people because they helped so many injured wildlife and they do a phenomenal job. It was amazing amazing amazing that they saved this bird. Thank you for loving God's creatures”
