“I'm recently engaged and my ring was designed and then made by a private jeweler based in Hawaii. I LOVE it! Well, my ring size was a bit smaller than it once was, as I lost weight throughout 2020. So I went into Luecke while in town and asked if they could size it down a bit for me. Their jeweler said that the ring size needed to be so small that the number (five stones) and size (each fairly large) of diamonds would require the setting to be tightened afterwards. And would take longer than the week we had initially anticipated. Instead of just trying to size and hoping for the best, they were transparent with us and quoted the full work knowing it may mean they lost the revenue from the job. They were so honest, and I really appreciated that. They also gave me a free temporary ring guard to use until we were able to bring it in. I was SO scared to wear my ring before, in case it slipped off. This ring is beyond precious to me. Having the ring guard means I'm able to safely wear my ring 24/7. And this shop's honesty means we WILL be returning once we're ready to have it sized and the settings adjusted, as I know my ring will be in good hands!
