“This place is a true gem! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. A local, independent pet supply shop offering a large variety of healthy treats, food and fun for your pets. They have everything you could possibly need and, if there's anything you're looking for that you can't find, perhaps try to ask the staff and see what they suggest. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Bring your well-behaved leashed dog in while you shop. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program so you can save some money on certain food purchases. Park in their small parking lot otherwise on the street.”

“I went in today and talked to the very educated owner, Amy, that spent a long time explaining to me the benefits of switching to Fromm dog food and adding in raw food and raw goats milk and helped me with concerns over my dog having allergies. My dog didnt want to eat his other dog food any more after being put on Apoquel, which is known for causing anorexia. I pulled him off the Apoquel after only 2 weeks and made the switch to Fromm Gold and my dog was licking the bag before i even got it into his bowl. He gobbled it right up and loved the raw goats milk too. Also starting him on Solutions Allergeez powder, which he loves mixed in with the goats milk. Amy was so patient in explaining everything to me and super knowledgeable and helped we work with my budget. The Fromm Gold is actually a better deal over his Taste of the Wild and you get the 13th bag free. I will be a regular customer here and leave the big corporate pet shops.”

Not only was I completely blown away by how beautiful and healthy the livestock is, I was super impressed with how personable and knowledgable the owner, Dominic, is. This store is a must visit if you like corals! Dominic’s wide variety of knowledge and troubleshooting abilities are great when you need it and he is so willing to help. I will absolutely be back.”

“I love this store! I can easily spend 90 minutes here looking at all of the fish and aquatic creatures. Staff is extremely knowledgeable with both freshwater and marine life and more than happy to chat about their favorite fish/creatures and pets. The displays are amazing - it honestly feels like I'm at an aquarium rather than a "pet" store (fyi aquatic biota only). I can only visit when I am considering a new fishy friend as I can't leave empty handed. On my last visit, I brought home a new Betta. He was is so healthy, vibrant, and happy, I just adore him!! Great place for aquarium enthusiasts and an overall fun place to visit :)”

“So convenient for me, right on Bluemound Road. I needed Hills Science Large Puppy Food. The associate there helped me locate it, (I was in quite a hurry), brought it to the counter for me to check out immediately. He then asked if I would like him to carry it to my car. Very sweet! “Happy Paws is the best daycare, boarding, and grooming spot that we've found! We've had dogs for 30 years, and I wouldn't hesitate at all in bringing my dogs in. When we were out of town for 7 days, we were sent photos of our boy having fun playing with his doggie friends. We especially appreciate the understanding and knowledge that the staff has for our dogs. They keep them safe and active. After a day a Happy Paws, my dogs are pooped from all the fun that they've had. I couldn't recommend them higher!”

“I love this cute little “barkery” for my dogs treats! Jennie and her team are very friendly and outgoing. Her treats are definitely made with love. Ingredients are clean with no fillers. She also had cute miscellaneous items in the store from doggy clothes, socks, toys, and other treats. Fromm is carried in this store to those of you that use this brand. I’m glad this store is a part of the Greendale community!”

“Dog wash is clean and well stocked, it's first come first serve but if you come on a weekday there is rarely a line. They even give you towels and shampoo. Not bad for $15, plus I don't have to worry about the hair clean up they do it for you.”

“I swear this place is amazing! From the breeder Terri to people who were at the store (Sandy and Ed). Sandy and Ed were so knowledgeable and personable and they were so patient with me and all my questions. Sandy even provided feedback and advice on my beagle and her recommendation helped my big girl so much!!! Sandy showed us certain tricks our new puppy knew and we continue to use them at home. A couple weeks later, I noticed something was wrong with our new fur baby and I reached out to Terri for clarification on a sheet I was sent home with and not only did she answer my questions but also provided medication for our baby. She followed through on all my questions and even went as far as offering treatment for my baby. You all have an amazing team and I truly feel like I bought her from people who really care their pups go into good homes. Thanks Preppy Pup Family!”

“I needed buddy's cat food so I remember that this newer location was across from Meijer where I could shop both places. I don't know how new the store is but it's definitely not a legacy store like Whole Foods from the beginning of the mall. While I was there I looked at the cats for adoption and inquired about the adoption process and I was surprised at how easy it is and a filly fixed 3 year old cat with all its vaccines is only $40, I have been adopting cats for years from shelters and never paid that little ever so it's very affordable. The young woman with the glasses was very helpful on the adoption process and I asked some questions that the regular person probably wouldn't ask and she was honest about not having the knowledge on some of my questions. Overall a great experience and I will make this my new location”

“I love this place! They are all so kind here the groomers and the employees! My dog is jumpy and I'm trying to work with him and they never once make me feel bad for it! They are great there and I will go there for life!! So happy with this place! I recommend the groomers they are lovely!! Also very very educated my dog has the kind of coat to where you don't get him cut and I didn't know that and they informed me of that and also helped me with his ears!!!”

“Edited to add: adjusted review based on Tony’s fantastic customer service. Went above and beyond in explaining fish issues and gave an alternative solution that would end up saving the customer money and create a healthier tank. Guy deserves a raise! Every time we are there he’s always ready to work and very friendly.Staff are all wonderful here and we buy all supplies for our dogs here, however I purchased several fish here last month and within 2 weeks they were all dead. Staff did refund for those. My existing fish which were in a healthy, established tank prior are all starting to die too, including my angel fish :(I know it’s not under the employee’s control but still a bummer and will go to a local fish store for future fish purchases!”
