River's Edge Apple River Tubing & Camping offers a unique getaway with access to the river for tubing and tanking, which is described as a blast, very fun, relaxing, and perfect on a hot day. The river moves along nicely, though it can be low in spots. The business provides tubes, cooler tubes, shuttles, and a key check service. The location is a quick drive from Stillwater and about 45 minutes from the Cities. The campground has a full geographic layout with different types of sites, including RV-only and tent-only sections. Some campsites are right along the freeway and can be loud, and the campground is not tremendously shady. Amenities included with camping are two giant water slides, a swimming pool open until 10 pm, mini golf, basketball, and volleyball. The mini golf is fun but quite run down, and the water slides are big but slow. The staff is amazing, very accommodating, super helpful, and welcoming, with new owners making it even better. Guests can stay in a super cute and clean cabin right on the river, described as a quaint and perfectly appointed gem. The well water is superb, and ice and firewood are available for sale. Overall, it is a fun way to turn tubing into a weekend, providing a good stay and a beautiful fall getaway for rest and relaxation.

Love tubing down the Apple River! Only a few people floating down during the week the last week in August. So relaxing and fun! Pool at campground is fabulous!
