Apple River Family Campground offers a great space for special family events with a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. The campground features absolutely beautiful riverfront sites with amazing views, accommodating small RVs, trailers, or tents. Many appreciate the manicured lawns, electric and water at the site, and trees for shade. Amenities include two nicely maintained seasonal pools, clean restroom and shower areas, and hot showers available for a small fee. Guests can enjoy tubing down the Apple River with an exit right at the campground. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, with a shuttle service to nearby concert venues. While the riverside sites are a little expensive, many find them worth the price. Some note the bathrooms could be kept cleaner, but they remain usable. The location is convenient, with the town just a short drive away for supplies. Staying on weekdays is recommended for more privacy and the best experience.

The campsite was awesome down by the river! Their prices are HIGH. They charge $5 for a bag of ice, and a bundle of 14 pieces of firewood...will cost you $10! Friendly staff. Other than the prices I would gladly recommend.

Best place to be, great staff, super friendly, pools and grounds are kept perfect. Great pricing. Will definitely stay here again.
