“I have been going to the Birches resort since I was a young kid, and it has always been my go-to vacation spot. Not only do they serve up delicious drinks, but their pizza is out of this world. It's the perfect spot to sit back and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful lake. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time.What I love most about the Birches is that it offers the best of both worlds. It's a small resort, so you get that intimate and personal feel, but it still has all the amenities and activities of a larger resort. And the best part? It won't break the bank. “The owners are awesome and hilarious. Spent 5 days here and had a great time. The lake has some nice fish in it. Trails are fun. Nice community fire pit. Being an air mattress to sleep on lol. The beds were made in 1970 and they have the same mattresses from 1970 on them. The water was hot The rooms were clean they come with pots pans and silverware so you can just buy food and cook it. Each room has a refrigerator and an oven /stove. No TVs no phones no cell phone service The perfect getaway from the city.”

“Very rustic so if you're the room service type, keep looking. But for my family, who's been coming for nearly 40 years, it's our respite from the hustle of life. 14 cabins ranging in size and a huge lake frontage on a gorgeous chain of lakes. My wish is that needed updates on the cabins that don't have showers (there are about 4 of them) be made to sustain the business). I'd have to believe the extra cost for these updates would be gladly accepted by us faithful. Pets are welcome, too and my dogs have had the privilege of cabin life one week at a time over their lifetime, which makes me have a peaceful time as well.”
