Best Western Waukesha Grand is a well-maintained and clean hotel that offers comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Guests find the beds comfortable and the rooms generally very clean, making it a good choice for those seeking a relaxing stay. The breakfast includes fresh and good-quality options, with waffles being a highlight, though some guests noted that the meat options could be improved. The hotel staff is friendly and personable, with the assistant manager receiving praise for excellent customer service and a welcoming attitude. Most guests feel safe during their stay and appreciate the walkable access to nearby restaurants, though traveling to other attractions may require driving. However, some concerns were raised about the atmosphere in the common areas, especially when a large family group occupied the lobby and dining area, treating it as their personal space during the weekend. Additionally, there were mixed experiences with the front desk clerk, with one guest mentioning a less professional initial interaction that improved later. Overall, Best Western Waukesha Grand provides a comfortable and friendly environment, with some minor issues related to privacy and accessibility, but remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a clean, friendly hotel with decent amenities.
All the hallways smelled like weed or old socks. Nice staff, fine for one night.

I will not be going back. They want extra money if you arrive early to see if your room is ready. Upon check in my daughter's room was not even serviced so they had to go back and get a different room next to a barking dog. Trying to get a 7 year old to bed with a dog barking nit easy. Don't waste your money.
