Full disclosure: I didn't actually end up buying a car with Freeland (this time) but that's no fault of theirs! Adult finances are rough sometimes, and the numbers just weren't there for us...
My wife and I came in looking for a specific vehicle for a certain amount each month after having the runaround with dealerships and all kinds of wacky situations, and Owen just sat us down and did his darndest to work with several credit unions, banks, and other third parties to make that monthly payment work, just like we asked.
He jumped through so many hoops, tried so many variations of percentages and financing options, waited a couple days just to try one last option, and actually helped us meet our goals for the car we wanted. There was no gimmicking or haggling, just straight-shooting and talking like a normal human should.
They might not have been able to sell us the car we wanted at this time, but they certainly bought our business when we are back in the market! These guys are awesome, and yes, they DO operate out of an old schoolhouse!
They even offer you snacks while you're there :)”

“Purchased a used transmission through a marketplace listing and it ended being sold by H&H. Andrew was prompt, thorough, and personable. I'd not swapped a transmission on my own before, so he took the time to walk me through some commons pitfalls to watch out for. He made it clear that if I ran into any problems, to reach back out. It's a scrapyard at heart, so if walking and seeing piles of parts on the floor makes you squeamish, know what you're getting into. They work closely with the Summit Credit Union in Pewaukee, so if thats your bank its great. I would make the 1.5 hour drive to buy a car from him again.”
