Hours: The Food + Farm Exploration Center is an educational center offering immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits for all ages to learn how food goes from field to fork. Its mission is to educate current and future generations about agricultural innovation and sustainability. It is a place for connecting with food and those who grow it and is home of the World's Largest Potato Masher. Visitors can spend hours exploring, learning, and interacting with the super nice staff. It is a fun place for all ages with lots of interactive hands-on exhibits, including tractor simulations, a play grocery store, a food truck, games, and a crafting area. There is something for everyone, from kids to adults, making it a great experience for all generations. Plan to spend two to three hours exploring and playing. The on-site Colorful Plate Café serves breakfast, lunch, and craft coffee & spirits, with food that is a hit. The center offers memberships for free access all year and is a space for event rentals, field trips, and memorable family pictures. While some note a desire for more healthy food exhibits beyond corn and potatoes, the engaging exhibits provide a fun and educational visit.
