I had a dog that required extra work to be seen and Dr Hookstead was my go to even though my dog and him didn’t see eye to eye. When it came time to put him down, the new owners worked with me on payments and Dr Hookstead rearranged his schedule to make sure he was the one to deal with my dog and I as well. It meant the world to me especially since I didn’t have any history with the new owners. The new owners seem great but I can only say so much since I don’t know them yet but I do know the awesome desk lady that has always gone above and beyond for me and the vet there is an awesome mix of understanding financial budgets and caring about your pets. Every appointment I’ve been to is an honest breakdown of cost versus care with long term in mind. They also do goats here (well they did for sure, maybe ask before showing up there with some lol!) I’ve never had surprises show up on my bill or questionable care happen. Hard to say this about other places for sure.
