“A Very Special Project
I came into this Ace Hardware with a project that meant everything to me. Before my sister passed away, she had started building a custom, ceramic teapot lamp for our mother. She left it unfinished, and the last video I have of her is working on it in the garage. I was volunteered to finish it, but out of fear of breaking the fragile ceramic or messing it up, it sat on a shelf in my office for two years. With the anniversary of her passing approaching around Mother's Day, I was determined to finally finish her final project, but I was completely stuck on the technical hardware details.
Enter Bill: An Absolute Asset to Your Store
I walked into the hardware section with a box full of parts and met Bill. I watched him take immaculate, patient care of the customer ahead of me, and when it was my turn, he greeted me bright-eyed and bubbly.
I showed him the step-by-step assembly instructions I had, and he didn't blink an eye. Bill was incredibly patient, enthusiastic, and focused. He carefully walked the aisles with me, tracking down every obscure nut, threaded rod, and washer needed to make the assembly safe and secure. He even managed to find the exact hardware finish color I wanted which I hadn't even been able to locate online!
An Incredible Human Being
While we worked, I got to learn a little bit about the incredible life this serviceman has lived. He is a proud, compassionate man. He didn't just sell me parts; he filled my heart and gave me the confidence to go home and finish a piece of my sister's legacy.
Because of Bill's expertise and kindness, the teapot lamp is fully assembled, working, and absolutely perfect. My sister would be amazed at the final product!

“Harbor freight has a little of everything. Always fun to stop and see what they hv. Bought a hi pressure washer for landscaping blocks to blast off moss and clean cement slab off. Everyone needs a vouour of those battery operated tennis rackets for mosquitoes and other flying bugs. That was the hi light on the 4th a couple of years ago when my family came up.”
