“It is nice to have a store within walking distance of alot of houses. that way you don't need to drive so far and create pollution by driving. The city should encourage more business to start up in the city and not keep on forcing more and more rules down there throughts where they end up closings”

“I had such a nice experience here. The owner Bill and his head mechanic repaired my 2004 Toyota Camrys air conditioner on such a hot day. Then they mentioned that my windshield wipers were almost falling off they were so old and they fixed that as well. A very fair price and the folks there were so friendly. This is definitely where I’ll be going in the future.”

“It is somewhat difficult to enter or exit this particular gas station. However if you miss it you can go around the block and enter quite easily. Additionally, their gas prices are considerably lower than others in the area.”
“I went to AmStar on my way home because I noticed their gas prices were $.50 lower than anywhere I'd passed. I also really needed to put air in two front tires. AmStar had a nice machine (guage was way off, 80psi?!), and charged 4 quarters for the air. But lots of time for that dollar. I now keep a guage in my old car and would still pay a buck for the air device here. It was night, the place was well-lit, and I felt safe. So what I saved in gas I guess I paid for getting air. This review may be full of "hot air"!”

“I don't normally buy gas here. But it's close to where I get my car serviced AND they (service shop) provide me with a coupon for a free car wash. The station is well maintained, and they issued me a code for the coupon. The car wash was excellent. Lots of suds, and the dryers lasted a good long time.”
“I saw someone make notice of the public restroom, it is very nice of them to let people use their restroom and it’s way cleaner than other gas station bathrooms. I wait in the car for my mother to finish her chemotherapy every week and sometimes I have to use the restroom. During this pandemic, I try to stay out of the hospital unless they need me to come in, so I go to this gas station. They are super friendly and it gives me a moment to get an ice cold beverage.”

“Super nice owner, very helpful. I was renting a u haul and u had called to reserve it. As soon as I asked behind the counter, he handed me the keys and paperwork and I was gone. As well, also, and in addition too, there was a a box with some one one's ashes who had been cremated, and in the box was the fellahs ID and Social security card left in the cab of the truck. I was shocked obviously, went and gave it to the owner of Amoco, and he offered me a freed drink for the inconvenience. And as I was hoping he was attempting to get a hold of the family who lost there son... And then lost him again ?... Sorry funny not funny. But gas station is great”

“Good gas station in the middle of downtown - just between the main part of downtown and the south side.There’s normally always an open spot here for parking it for a pump. They have a car wash. They even have a great Indian restaurant (don’t try the gyro restaurant ?). And lastly, one of the best liquor stores in the city is attached here too!”
