“We usually go off peak (not during the busy summer months). It was busy but not too busy. Live music in the evening. Great venue. Food, coffee and ice cream available in the cafe. We always go to paint our own pottery. Such a fun time. They glaze and fire your pottery and you pick up the finished piece at a later date. They do ship also.”
“A restoration of a family portrait from @1850. Face is now so bright and expressive. Painting had been hung above multiple fireplaces and has filled dramatically. Now brilliant! Also had a dish towel mounted which was equally cared for expertly. Highly recommend!”
“Very nice gallery with unique fine work by local artists. It is run by volunteers who obviously love being surrounded by the art and enjoy showing it to customers. Fun place!”
“I worked with Brickyard Pottery on a custom dinnerware order. Unfortunately, the final result did not come together as expected due to glaze issues during firing, and the order ultimately could not be completed in the desired time.
That said, Virginia was transparent throughout the process, communicated clearly about the challenges, and ultimately refunded my down payment in full. While the outcome wasn’t what either of us hoped for, I appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and integrity shown in making things right.
Pottery is a craft with inherent variables, and I respect the care taken to avoid delivering something that didn’t meet expectations. I would recommend Brickyard Pottery”
