“This is a local treasure of information and architectural beauty. Everyone should stop in to walk the lovely grounds, visit the outdoor memorials, and tour the Washington County Jail and Museum. The center also has a beautiful courthouse that can be rented for weddings and celebrations and an amazing dollhouse and native american interactive area where kids can touch and see things to make their experience more real.
I am a fan of the previous executive director, but I am not certain of the new director's approachability or devotion to the organization. Time will tell. Go check it out for yourself, and don't miss the Memorial Day and Veteran's Day celebrations--they are heart-warming and wonderful to witness.”
“Everyone was kind and followed CDC protocol. Knew I was unable to walk all the way to MRI area and took me there in wheelchair. Also was told I hurt my tailbone so they had padding on MRI table. Really concerned about how I was feeling.”
“So much to look at & try. Definitely one of my favorite things to do Saturday morning. Love seeing everyone support farmers. Love love love the fresh flowers. Great prices.”
“Fun store where you have to literally dig thru large bins of misc items. There's no rhyme or reason to what is in each bin. I love the hunt and the price, which for most everything, is sold by the pound. There are some items that are priced individually, but not many.”
“I brought in a female cat for their barn cat program. The process was simple and efficient. I was able to get her vaccinations and spayed and microchipped. The cost was up front and affordable. My only reason for no five stars is that I wish they had more offerings for the rest of the community who need to spay and neuter their personal indoor only cats. It's something the community needs more of to help end the suffering of all these animals. I brought in a female cat that was dumped at a friend's property that gave birth to a litter of kittens in their garage. It's been a struggle to find appointments for her kittens, as they do not need to be TNR or barn cats. Although I have been able to secure appointments for them since spaying mom, it is very much outside of the community. The community needs more services offered.”
